The game includes stat cards for each model soldier that lists its skills and abilities. Dice are rolled to determine damage from ranged or melee weapons and different tokens are used to designate whether an ability or effect is still present on a character or on the battlefield. Like the other table top war games, Warmachine involves collecting, assembling and painting the different components of your army as well as the battlefield itself.
